If I could set a world record it would be that I have 150 business partners all with thriving businesses of their own that started with nothing and I made the difference to make them all billionaires.

At the end of drama school I made a contract with myself: I'd try acting for five years. I was 26. I had already spent eight years working in restaurants and gas stations. So I had seen enough small businesses to understand that that's what acting is: a small business.

And fifth we will champion small businesses America's engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business not raising them. You know out-of-touch liberals like Barack Obama say they want a strong economy but in everything they do they show they don't like business very much. But the economy of course is simply the product of all the businesses of the nation added together. So it's a bit like saying you like an omelet but you don't like eggs.

Smart businesses do not look at labor costs alone anymore. They do look at market access transportation telecommunications infrastructure and the education and skill level of the workforce the development of capital and the regulatory market.
