Optimism is essential to achievement and it is also the foundation of courage and true progress.

To me what I love about the draft is first you see the young men who are realizing their dreams that they've worked so hard for. That's a pretty cool thing. You saw the emotion from some of these guys the other day. And then the second thing is this total sense of hope and optimism. And I think that's great for everybody.

Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.

Through my optimism I naturally prefer and capture the beauty in life.

I hope the millions of people I've touched have the optimism and desire to share their goals and hard work and persevere with a positive attitude.

My friends love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving hopeful and optimistic. And we'll change the world.

There was just this amazing individuality. It's just a whole different world of optimism and fearlessness women taking off their bras and dancing around naked and a political hopefulness and involvement.

My view is that at a younger age your optimism is more and you have more imagination etc. You have less bias.
